At Native Nuclear, we are committed to supporting Native American students on their academic journeys, from high school to higher education. Through outreach, partnerships, and mentorship, we connect young Indigenous scholars to opportunities within the nuclear industry.

Our goal is to empower the next generation with knowledge and resources while advocating for a future where Indigenous voices play a vital role in shaping the nuclear industry’s path forward.

Our scholarships provide a unique opportunity for Native students to deepen their commitment to nuclear science while preparing for a career in the energy industry.

Ideal candidates are passionate about sustainability, scientific innovation, and Indigenous advocacy.

Recipients will be selected based on academic achievement, clarity of purpose, and a demonstrated desire to contribute meaningfully to the future of nuclear energy.

  • Native American high school or college student

  • Pursuing a degree in

    • Nuclear Engineering

    • Nuclear Science & Materials

    • Physics with Nuclear Science

    • Space Radiation Technology

    • OR a STEM major with a demonstrated commitment to nuclear energy with plans to work in the nuclear field

  • GPA of 3.0 or higher

Internship Opportunity

Our internship offers a unique opportunity to conduct research on nuclear energy and sustainable energy solutions while contributing to the development of Native Nuclear’s public outreach and branding efforts.

This role is ideal for those interested in energy policy, environmental sustainability, science communication, and nonprofit development.

Interns gain hands-on experience in research, content development, and professional networking, working alongside industry leaders, nonprofit executives, and policymakers.
