Scott Lathrop
Founder & Chief Executive Officer
Scott Lathrop (yak titʸu titʸu yak tiłhini Tribe) is a leading expert on nuclear science and tribal engagement. As an inspector of Diablo Canyon Power Plant in the 1980's, Scott saw firsthand the details of nuclear development and the long-term economic benefits to the local region. Today, Scott serves as a member of the DCPP engagement panel and lectures across the country about the importance of Native voices in energy development decisions.

Andrew Lathrop
General Counsel
Andrew Lathrop (yak titʸu titʸu yak tiłhini Tribe) is a graduate of the United States Naval Academy with a BS in Control Systems Engineering, and a former US Marine Corps Captain. Following his service with the Marines, Andrew received his Juris Doctor from the University of Southern California Gould School of Law. He is a member of the State Bar of California, and he has over 15 years in public service at both the State and local levels.


Samantha Brandts
Operations
Samantha Brandts is a recent Cal Poly San Luis Obispo graduate with experience in nonprofit marketing, community outreach, and social research. At Native Nuclear, she serves as the Operations Manager and Executive Administrative Assistant to Scott Lathrop where she manages day-to-day operations and supports organizational strategy. Samantha’s role enables innovative connections between Native communities and the nuclear energy industry, helping bridge longstanding gaps in education, access, and advocacy.

Dwight Dixon (Navajo Nation) brings more
than 15 years of nuclear project leadership
through roles such as combination pipe
welder and weld inspector, field engineer, project planner/advisor, and project manager. He has led maintenance and major modification projects at Palo Verde Nuclear Generating Station and Palisades Nuclear Plant. As CEO of Roan PRJ Services LLC, Dwight applies his multidisciplinary expertise to develop repeatable systems for federal contracting and technical oversight. At Native Nuclear, he advances Native representation in nuclear energy, ensuring that tribal voices are included in the future of clean energy development.

Tribe) is an environmental stewardship and climate justice advocate with extensive experience supporting Tribal nations in building long-term energy and economic resilience. Kodee works closely with Tribal governments, federal and state agencies, and community stakeholders to advance sustainable development, infrastructure planning, and resource protection. Kodee forwards community-led approaches to energy resiliency, ensuring Tribal voices, sovereignty, and informed consent are central to decisions involving emerging energy technologies.

Doug Sandridge has spent his entire
career in oil and gas exploration and
development and is currently Senior Vice
President of Fulcrum Energy Capital Funds. Doug has a passion for energy education and has taught classes about energy at several universities. Doug is currently an adjunct instructor in the Energy Management Program at the University of Oklahoma. In recent years, Doug has focused a considerable amount of his time and energy on nuclear advocacy. In 2023, Doug founded Oil & Gas Executives for Nuclear Energy to promote nuclear energy advocacy around the world.

Her research spans uranium mine cleanup, radioactive containment, and the environmental impacts of legacy mining, and she has also conducted thermodynamic analyses, reactor modeling, and energy system optimization. She is committed to advancing safe nuclear technologies through environmental stewardship and innovation.
